Sunday dawned sunny and windless. Quite a change from the usual weather for the Flying Misfits final fun fly of the season.
Several out of town fliers attended the annual event. Aircraft ranged from sport to military semi-scale. We even had a large scale B-25, Corsair, P51 and P47.
Fun was had by all. Well, all those except the pilot that had to make a trip to the emergency room when his flesh and prop came into contact. Oh, and the three pilots that re-kitted their aircraft.
The most excitement came when one pilot made low (4ft) inverted passes down the main runway.
As per usual, the misfits put on a lunch feast that was fantastic. Grilled, smoke turkey and pork roast were the main meats with a range of side orders.
The misfits look forward to traveling to upcoming fun flies hosted by other clubs.
See you later, and keep the wheel side down.
